What to Expect From Therapy
Dr. Kelly works with individuals, couples, and families navigating important life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, loss, divorce, family conflict, and the emotional impact of difficult or unhealthy interpersonal professional or family dynamics.
Many clients seek therapy during periods of major change, such as marriage, separation, parenting, adolescence, adult children, career stress, or the responsibilities of caring for aging parents. Others come to better understand longstanding emotional patterns that continue to affect relationships, confidence, and decision-making.
Therapy provides a confidential, private, and nonjudgmental space to gain clarity, strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and restore emotional stability. Dr. Kelly’s approach is warm yet direct, and insight-oriented, drawing from psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
Some clients seek short-term support during a difficult phase, while others benefit from longer-term exploratory work for deeper and more lasting change.
