In-Person Therapy
The Value of In-Person Sessions
In-person therapy creates a level of presence and depth that can be very meaningful. Sitting together in a comfortable, quiet and private office is a level of commitment that removes distractions of daily life and allows for full attention.
As a doctoral-level licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty years of experience, I offer in-person sessions for adults, children, adolescents, and couples in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
The aftermath of COVID reminded many people that – while technology offers a necessary convenience – meaningful in-person connections can be critical for emotional well-being. In recent years, I became increasingly aware of a growing trend for many therapists to go completely virtual. Like many of my clients, I recognized the value of in-person sessions and am now committed to providing both in-person and virtual.
My theoretical background is built on a supportive, interpersonal approach influenced by psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Sessions are designed to be comfortable, non-threatening, and entirely confidential — a space where you can explore difficult experiences and unconscious patterns at your own pace. Others use therapy as a resource for personal growth. My approach is supportive but can be direct in allegiance with my client's goals and to help move the therapeutic process along.
Whether you are working through anxiety, a major life transition, a relationship challenge, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, in-person therapy provides the kind of focused, individualized care that meaningful change requires.

Two Chester County Offices
My primary in-person office is located at 210 West Gay Street in West Chester, PA, conveniently situated across from Saint Agnes Church and behind the Chester County Justice Center. The location is a short walk from West Chester University and easily accessible from throughout Chester County and the Brandywine Valley. My office is designed to feel warm, welcoming, and discreet — appropriate for the high-functioning professionals, families, and individuals I serve.
I maintain a second office in St. Peter's Village, Pennsylvania, alongside the spectacular French Creek. While I rarely accept new clients at this location, this historic and deeply enchanting village remains the origins of my Village Psychology practice. The St. Peter's office is in Northern Chester County and is accessible from Berks and Montgomery Counties.
My hours are by appointment only, with a typical weekday schedule between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. To schedule an in-person session or ask about availability, see our FAQ page or reach out directly using the contact information below.
